What is a SIP trunk?

A SIP trunk is an internet phone line. You register a softphone or handset with the credentials we issue and place calls over your broadband connection.

Can I order multiple numbers?

Yes. During checkout you can select multiple local landline numbers and/or 1300 numbers. Extra numbers can be added later from your dashboard.

Do I need an NBN plan?

No. You can order SIP Voice on its own and use any internet connection. You can still add voice as an addon when ordering Ripple NBN.

Can I keep my existing number?

Yes. At checkout (or later from your dashboard) you can raise an Australian Cat-A port: enter the number, your current carrier account number, and a preferred weekday cutover. Monthly DID pricing is the same as a new number once the port completes.
