Our story

We got tired of apologising for someone else's network

So in 2009 we built our own. Ripple Networks is an Australian-owned provider that treats fair pricing as a feature, not a promotion — for homes, businesses, and everyone in between.

How we got here

From fixing IT to building a network

Most internet providers start as internet providers. We started as the people who got the angry call when the connection went down — and couldn't fix it.

  1. 2005

    It started with IT support

Our team opened in Parramatta, NSW, keeping medical practices, clinics and corporates running. When a clinic can't reach its imaging system, patients wait. That taught us what "reliable" really has to mean.

  2. 2009

So we built our own ISP

The weak link was never the hardware — it was the connection underneath it. Orders that took weeks, bills nobody could explain, support desks in another timezone. Our clients' needs weren't being met by the majors, so we started our own network.

  3. Since then

    From boardrooms to living rooms

We invested in network, systems and Australian support staff. What began as corporate and medical connections grew into home internet — the same network and the same honesty, at a household price.

  4. Today

    Three countries, one rule

We connect Australian homes and businesses, we're opening in New Zealand, and we carry enterprise fibre across Chile. Same team, same rule: fair pricing, clearly explained, no fine print.

Why we do it

Our mission

To give everyone we serve — a family in the suburbs, a dental practice in Parramatta, a data centre in Santiago — access to fairly-priced, high-quality, always-available telecoms.

We want "fair" to become the boring default in telecoms. Clear pricing, no lock-in, and a local human on the phone shouldn't be selling points. They should be the baseline.

What we stand for

Four things we won't trade away

These aren't posters on a wall. Each one is something you can check on your own bill.

Fair by default

One flat price. No loyalty tax, no retention-desk games. If we wouldn't accept a term as a customer, we don't write it as a provider.

Honest even when it costs us

We tell you when your intro price ends — before you buy. We publish our competitors' prices next to ours. If we can't serve your address well, we say so.

Local people who pick up

Australian-owned with Australian-based support. You talk to someone who knows what an NTD is and what your street does at 8pm.

Punching above our weight

We're a small team competing with billion-dollar incumbents. That's not a disclaimer — it's why we move faster and answer faster.

Where we operate

From a household NBN plan to carrier-grade transport between data centres — all from the same company, on the same principles.
